You have to be a US President! At least when it comes to the current incumbent’s working hours.

Donald Trump

shouldn’t show up in an office before 11 a.m. In return, however, he usually does not leave it after 4.15pm. A five-hour working day for the most powerful office in the world?

Who doesn’t want working hours from 11 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. – with a lunch break in between? Allegedly the working hours of

US President Donald Trump

. According to its own statements, records from the calendar of the most powerful man in the world were leaked to the US news site “Axios”.

“Exclusive time” to start

According to this, Trump likes to take things a little easier with three hours of “exclusive time”, during which he allegedly watches news programs (preferably about himself), telephones – and of course tweets. Only then, around 11 a.m., Trump is supposed to appear in the Oval Office for a briefing with his Chief of Staff John Kelly, as the calendar entry for an ordinary Tuesday reveals. This is supposed to be followed by “exclusive time” before lunch at 12.30 pm. A meeting follows at 2:45 p.m. and a meeting with consultant Johnny DeStefano at 3:45 p.m. before the working day officially ends at 4:15 p.m., if the calendar entry is to be believed. The same should be repeated on the remaining days of the week – unless Trump is traveling.

Night owl Obama, early bird Bush

For comparison: Trump’s predecessor Obama sat at his desk between 9 and 10 a.m. and did things outside of the Oval Office before that. He was also a total “night owl” as the BBC refers to Matthew Dallek, Politics Professor at George Washington University. He is said to have worked until one or two in the morning when the family was asleep. Bill Clinton was also a night worker. Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, is said to have been a morning person and was already in the office at 6:45 a.m.

More in the office at the beginning

As “Axios” reports on, Trump should not have always been so “lazy”. At the beginning of his tenure, he would have spent even more time in the office. He is also constantly busy outside of the office, so the working hours do not necessarily have to indicate laziness. He just works in a very unstructured and undisciplined way, as is reported – and as he allegedly worked as the head of his Trump organization.

Trump’s spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders took a position as soon as the calendar entries became known, saying the president was one of the hardest working people she knew, who worked for hours and days almost every day of the week all year round.

At the weekend, the US President vehemently rejected the statement that everyone in his environment certifies that he is incapable of office and describes himself as a “spiritually very stable genius”. Book author Michael Wolff defended his work with various descriptions of completely chaotic governance and sees the beginning of the end of this presidency.

….Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star…..
